So this is my first time EVER blogging. I feel so funny thinking about talking about myself. I suppose I should use my first couple of posts to say some things about myself...
I grew up in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. It really is a wonderful place. I was a trouble maker in high school and my first couple years of college. Then I met my husband and we both matured a lot together. Now I don't think people back home would even know who I am! My husband is in the Air Force, and his four year mark was in August. We've been married since January of 2010, and it has been really hard, honestly. He deployed 6 months after we got married, and 9 months into it, he was injured and had to come home 3 months early. 2 weeks after he was home, he got orders to Korea for a year, and I wasn't allowed to go. So He has been gone since the beginning of July this year and will not be home until August of next year.
I am going to school to be an Elementary Educator. I have had so many people ask me why I would want to be a teacher, because I could do anything that I wanted. But I believe that teaching is my calling. I love children.
We don't have any children, not yet anyways.... We were going to try after his deployment, but then he got orders to Korea and that put everything on hold.
Well, I think this is a pretty good start. Time to go to bed.
